For whatever it is worth to you, here are my expectations – not predictions, I don\’t do predictions – regarding today\’s midterm elections:
-In the senate, Republicans will wind up with a gain of as few as 5-6 seats and as many as 10. I expect them to wind up with 7 or 8, therefore to take control of the senate. I would be major-league surprised if the total were under 6.
-In the house, I expect Republicans to wind up with maybe 5 – 8 additional seats.
-I expect Democrats to wind up with 2-3 more Governorships than they started with.
There you go. That is what I expect.
