Oakland, California, which has turned from a valued, creditable sister-city to once-great San Francisco, but now – like San Francisco – is well on its way to being an outright disaster (if it isn’t already), has just elected former Rep. Barbara Lee its new Mayor.
Barbar Lee is a harder-than-hard leftist who almost certainly will follow the same policies that put Oakland into its current condition.
