From David Mack\’s article at buzzfeed.com:
The governors of Connecticut, New York, and Washington on Saturday lifted bans on taxpayer-funded travel between their states and Indiana, two days after Gov. Mike Pence signed an amended religious freedom bill into law.
Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo had ordered bans on state-funded travel to Indiana on Monday in response to that state\’s passing of a Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), which critics said would permit discrimination against LGBT individuals.
Just about every other sanctimonious venue which did its part to pretend that Indiana\’s RFRA law was anything substantially different from the same law passed in 18 other states, and the federal law passed 22 years ago, will quickly follow.
The mainstream media which pounded Indiana mercilessly until it added a few magic words which change virtually nothing, will now congratulate each other on their great accomplishment.
And, most importantly, Hillary Clinton\’s email scandal, the DOJ\’s outrageous refusal to go after lois “liar” lerner for testifying on her own behalf, then pleading the fifth, Harry Reid\’s admission that he lied about Mitt Romney during the 2012 presidential campaign, and the absurd “deal” with Iran – which Iran has stated in so many words does not exist as President Obama and John Kerry claim it does – have had a week of secondary coverage, so they could die down in the public\’s mind.
Diversionary mission accomplished.
