Ever hear of someone named steven vaillancourt? If you\’re really lucky, the answer is no.
steven vaillancourt is a Republican State Representative from New Hampshire. He is also a disgusting imbecile, who shames his constituency – and his state, country and basically the human race.

NewHampshire State Rep. Steve Vaillancourt wrote a long blog postpredicting the outcome of the race in the state\’s 2nd CongressionalDistrict on one factor: incumbent Democratic Rep. Ann McLane Kuster\’slooks.
“Let\’sbe honest. Does anyone not believe that Congressman Annie Kuster isas ugly as sin? And I hope I haven\’t offended sin,” Vaillancourtwroteon NH Insider, a New Hampshire politics blog.
Bycontrast, he wrote, Kuster\’s Republican challenger, State Rep.Marilinda Garcia, is “one of the most attractive women on thepolitical scene anywhere, not so attractive as to be intimindating[sic], but truly attractive.”
“AnnieKuster looks more like a drag queen than most men in drag,” heconcludes.
Vaillancourtseemed to realize the post might cause a backlash, because he warnedreaders at the top that “the subject matter, although very real,may prove uncomfortable for some of my more sensitive readers.”
“Thus,to avoid the PC police sending out a warrant for my arrest, I offeran advance warning,” he said (with the promise that “Idon\’t plan to say anything really offensive here.”).
Garciareleased a statement calling the comments “sexist” andsaying they “have absolutely no place in political discourse.
I assume you don\’t need me to explain why I call this disgusting imbecile what he is.
Obviously, Ms. Garcia, the ostensible beneficiary of vaillancourt\’s idiocy, is appalled as well. I don\’t blame her a bit.
If vaillancourt had 100th of an ounce of either intelligence or common decency, he would be apologizing profusely for those comments. The fact that he is not doing so tells you how much intelligence and common decency he has.
I can only hope the Republican Party is cringing at what vaillancourt said – and demanding that he apologize or resign; preferably both.
