On Monday, the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which carries natural gas from Russia to Europe, was damaged and is now spewing much of that gas into the ocean.
It seems eminently clear that this was no accident; that it was intentional sabotage.
But who did it?
Based on numerous news reports – and common sense – the two most likely culprits are the United States (making good on Joe Biden’s promise) and Russia (as a false-flag operation to deflect his failed war and punish Europe for its support of The Ukraine).
That said, let’s remember that Joe Biden specifically threatened to end the Nord Stream 2 pipeline if Russia invaded The Ukraine.
Here’s the evidence…from a joint news conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, held on February 7 (17 days before putin’s invasion of The Ukraine):
Biden: “If Russia invades, that means tanks and troops crossing the border of The Ukraine, again, then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2, we will bring an end to it.”
Reporter: “But how will you do that, exactly since the project and control of the project is within Germany’s control?”
Biden: “We will, I promise you we will be able to do it.”

But is it the United States?
Is it Russia instead? I.e. did Russia perpetrate this sabotage as a “false-flag operation” as some are suggesting?
Is putin – whose war on The Ukraine has, so far, turned into a humiliating defeat which exposes his military as incapable/incompetent and has fomented street demonstrations against him throughout the country – so desperate that he would do something like this which not only is devastating to Europe, which heavily relies on Russian energy as cold weather comes on, but severely cripples his own economy?
Is putin so desperate that he would capitalize on Biden’s words last February, and do this to create a rationale for blaming, and maybe counterattacking us? Would he use his nuclear arsenal in doing so?
The answer is: I don’t know and neither do you. But it won’t be long before we find out.
We better damn well hope the answer is no.
