Soon after he took office, Obama insisted on dropping”war on terror” in favor of “overseas contingencyoperations”- more than just a semantic difference. A little over a yearago he assured us that ISIS was just a “Jayvee team” of terroristsand we shouldn\’t worry about them. He refuses to use “Muslim” and”terrorism” in the same sentence and has insisted that over and overagain that Islam is one thing only – a religion of peace.
Watching with dispassionate impotence as ISIS has metastasized from a terrormovement to a terror nation, Barack Obama and his policies remind us once againof the truth of George Orwell\’s warning, “The surest way to end a war isto lose it.”
Everything the President says about the terror threat is wrong.
Everything he has done about it is insufficient and ineffective.
The Obama administration can\’t be part of thesolution to terrorism because it is part of the problem.
The president created the barbaric vacuum where ISIS was born when he pulledour troops from Iraq and almost pulled them from Afghanistan. That shameful retreatput an Open House sign on the region for terrorists and invited them to startcutting off heads.
At this point, there is only one question left — where will thenext attack be?
