I am happy to report that congress – both parties included – is going to put forth condemnations of the United Nations vote on Israel – the one orchestrated by Barack-stabber Obama, who, now that he is leaving office, apparently feels no need to pretend he gives a damn about Israel any more.

From Burgess Everett’s article at

Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), will introduce a “sense of the Senate” resolution next week disapproving of the Security Council’s condemnation of Israeli settlement-building in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday. The resolution is intended to be a companion to the expected House action against the U.N. and could place both chambers at odds with the international body as Congress returns next month.

A spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said he had no announcement on whether the chamber would vote on Moran’s resolution or another one like it. Several aides in both parties say there are bipartisan discussions about the Senate censuring the U.N. given the outrage over last week’s Israel vote.
The House will vote as soon as next week on a resolution of disapproval of the U.N., though the exact language has yet to be determined, aides said. On Friday, Rep. Dennis Ross (R-Fla.) announced plans to introduce such a measure.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) also said he plans to spearhead an effort to defund the United Nations, though that’s unlikely to earn bipartisan support in the Senate.

Yes, there will be votes against such house and senate resolutions – especially in the house.

And you can bet that the preponderance of them will be from Democrats, not Republicans.  Why?  Because the Democrat Party, increasingly, is no friend to the state of Israel.

But I fully expect that they both will sail through to passage…

…and the next President, unlike the one currently (mercifully) packing his bags, will give a damn about Israel, our staunch ally and the one and only democracy in the Mideast – no matter what the useless Obamadrone, John Kerry, thinks.

Come January, these two will be gone.  I can’t wait.
