It wasn\’t enough that, during CNN\’s Democrat debate, Hillary Clinton was given more time to speak than anyone else. Now it appears that the network (which, during her husband\’s time as President, many sarcastically reffered to as the “Clinton News Network”) is deleting comments critical of her as well.
Seeing their comments repeatedly deleted by CNN, BernieSanders supporters are hopping mad today.
Already feeling thenews network\’s coverage had become rabidly pro-Hillary in the aftermath of lastnight\’s debate, Facebook users leaving reactions on CNN\’s page are nowcontinually re-posting them, knowing they will be quickly removed. There arehundreds in a seeming battle with the network, with no explanation as to why.
Some users andmessages appear to be specifically targeted, especially those accusing CNN ofhaving conflicts of interest that make it naturally inclined to back Hillary.
In particular, they\’reciting last night\’s initial Facebook poll data showing Bernie had won thedebate handily. They are claiming the network is now burying that informationin today\’s coverage.
That clip from lastnight\’s post-debate show is still on YouTube, uploaded to a GOP channel. SomeSanders backers are linking to this:
Maloney goes on to post a screen-capture of the post-debate poll, which showed that viewers voted Bernie Sanders the debate winner by a huge margin of 75% to 18% over Ms. Clinton – in keeping with several other polls showing Sanders the winner by a two-to one margin or more. He claims to have personally monitored facebook responses and found that these unhappy Sanders supporters are correct – their comments were being removed time and time again
Can it be? Can CNN intentionally be blowing off references to Sanders\’ win…presumably because the network wants and expects Hillary Clinton to be the candidate and this kind of information might hurt her going forward?
Well, if not, give me another reason. Because I can\’t come up with one.
And if you think this stinks….better get a good pair of nose plugs. Because, our media being what it currently is, you\’re going to see plenty more of this, a lot of which will probably be even worse.
