CNN “REPORTING” ON THE TWO ISIS TERRORISTS

This – so help me, I’m not making it up – is the beginning of a CNN tweet on X, regarding the two ISIS operatives who through bombs at an opposing group in front of Gracie Mansion on Monday:

CNN was forced to delete a post that linked to a report on the ISIS-inspired bombing Tuesday morning, after language used by the poster admittedly made light of the attack. The post was deleted sometime around 9am but was screen-capped by various X users

Un effing believable.

Not only does this romanticize the two terrorists as a couple of kids in town for a nice day, but if you read no further you probably think they were part of the alleged “anti-Muslim protest”, not attacking it

(NOTE:  I have looked, and cannot find who these “anti-Muslim” protesters were.  I know better than to just accept this description, given that it comes from media I no longer have any good reason to assume is reporting accurately).

The blowback on this travesty posing as news was so great, that CNN actually had to put out this apology:

In its place, CNN penned a statement that admitted the post 'failed to reflect the gravity of the incident thereby breaching the editorial standards we require for all our reporting'

That’s it?  All that CNN did was fail to reflect the gravity of the incident?

And the CNN-employed, CNN-paid geniuses who put this out wonder why their ratings have fallen through a trap door?

Paramount-Warner, which took over CBS last year, is on the way to taking over CNN as well.  Can this new ownership possibly regenerate CNN into a credible news source?

Maybe.  But, as you can see, it will take some doing
