Regarding the title above: the diversionary idiocy is not embodied in the question. It is embodied in the effort not to answer it.
During a congressional hearing on abortion, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) asked what I think most of us would see as a simple, basic question: “Can a man get pregnant”?
The problem: he was asking it of a “woke” OB-GYN, Dr. Nish Verma. And, I would hope, because of her political skew rather than her knowledge of basic gender reality, she desperately tried not to answer.
So what followed was Dr. Verma giving him – and the rest of us – a five minute wild goose chase. Why? Because to answer that question honestly makes the “men who identify as women are women” claim look every bit as ridiculous as it is. And Senator Hawley – 100% justifiably – makes mincemeat of her for doing so.

And then, after you spend those five minutes marveling at how ridiculous Dr. Verma made herself look, please recall that a Supreme Court nominee, Justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson, pulled the same crap during her confirmation hearing (“I’m not a biologist”)…and Democrats installed her in the Supreme Court anyway.
I think I need a drink. Make it a double.
