Today, a nonbinding resolution was put forth in the House of Representatives, reaffirming that Iran is the largest state sponsor of terrorism – a fact that has gone undisputed for years.
And the resolution passed. Except…
…the vote was 372-53. That’s right; 53 House members, incredibly, voted against it. Every one of them was a Democrat.
Can Trump Derangement Syndrome possibly be so acute that 53 Democrats – 25% of the entire number of Democrats in the House – can’t even reaffirm Iran as the terrorist scourge it is, and has been for decades under Presidents of both parties?
The answer, self-evidently, is yes. And they have done so even as our country – their country – is involved in an armed conflict with Iran.
Have these people gone completely out of their minds?
