I heard about this yesterday…and could not believe my ears.
Here it is in writing – see if you can believe your eyes.

Fastforward to late May when the 28-year-old was freed in exchange forfive senior Taliban members held by the U.S. military. The news ofBergdahl\’s freedom initially was met with jubilation, but it quicklyturned as many called for an investigation into his disappearance andcaptivity.Somecritics accusedthesoldier of deserting his comrades in war.
Lessthan two months later, the Army announced Monday that Bergdahl hascompleted medical care and mental counseling at an Army hospital inSan Antonio.
Heis going to get back to work, the Army said.
Thesoldier will soon take a desk job at Fort Sam Houston, said U.S. ArmyNorth spokesman Don Manuszewski
Bergdahlwill be assigned to a unit responsible for homeland defense, civilsupport operations and security cooperation programs involvingcountries such as Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas.
Manuszewskiwouldn\’t offer any details about what Bergdahl will be doing day today but said the former captive will not be treated “anydifferent than any other soldier.”
AnArmy fact-finding investigation conducted in the months after hisdisappearance concluded that Bergdahl left his outpost deliberatelyand of his own free will, according to an official, who was briefedon the report.
Butthere was no definitive conclusion because that would require knowingBergdahl\’s intent — something officials couldn\’t learn withouttalking to him, a U.S. military official has said. The last step inthe investigation would likely include hearing Bergdahl\’s account.
A lying deserter, who we are “lucky” enough to have back only because we released five murdering terrorists to get him, is now back at work, in good standing? Working in homeland defense?
This is insanity on steroids. bowe bergdahl should not be at a desk doing anything. He should be incarcerated, awaiting a military tribunal.
But, as insane as this is, I do not blame bergdahl for the deaths – whether of US citizens or nationals of other countries – which are virtually certain to come at the hands of the terrorists released to get him back. bergdahl had nothing to do with that.
The blood of every one of them will be on the hands of President Barack Obama, who agreed to this “deal” – just as, I have no doubt at all, he is behind the treatment of bergdahl as just another soldier doing desk work for homeland defense. (Note: how can bergdahl even do desk work, given the Obama administration\’s preposterously dishonest claim that he no longer speaks English. Remember that lie?).
To call this sick is to grossly understate
I will write more about bergdahl in the next few days, we read/hear reaction from the media and from the military. Meanwhile, I will lament what our country has become under President Obama…and count the seconds until he is out of office.
