They knew. They knew for all four years. They knew that Joe Biden was incapable of performing the duties of President. They knew the country was being governed by nameless, faceless people no one elected.
But Democrats, along with their media lapdogs, lied to us about it all that time.
From today’s New York Post editorial:
Chris Cillizza, formerly of The Washington Post and CNN, just recorded a mea culpa about how, “as a reporter,” he “should have pushed harder earlier for more information about Joe Biden’s mental and physical well-being and any signs of decline.” Give us a break.
This is the same “journalist” who penned the outraged CNN news analysis, “Republicans keep trying to make Biden’s mental capacity an issue” back in August 2021, months after White House aides had begun secretly rescheduling national-security briefings because the prez had “good days and bad days.”
That’s just one of the revelations in this week’s landmark Wall Street Journal report that top staff knew about Biden’s cognitive decline from Day 1 — and covered it up.
The people surrounding the president of the United States for four years hid the fact that he couldn’t reliably run the country — and most of the Fourth Estate played along.
This unforgivable, dangerous lie stands to be the biggest political and media scandal of the modern era.
It makes Watergate look quaint in comparison.
And now, as if to prove they have no intention whatsoever of changing their ways, Democrats – a great many of them, in unison (translation: they have been given their talking points and are robotically reciting them) are telling us that Donald Trump has subordinated himself to Elon Musk, therefore Musk, not Trump, is the new President.
Apart from the fact that (although he seems far more active in a presidential way than what’s left of Biden) Donald Trump is not President yet, what does this even mean – other than a) setting up Elon Musk to be attacked while b) trying to make Trump look inconsequential, incapable, and in need of someone else to make decisions for him – exactly what they hid about Biden for four years?
They really are shameless. And they really do think we are a bunch of idiots who will go “duh, okay” and buy whatever they are selling.
Maybe, just maybe, this disdain for the people they are talking to, and the fact that more and more people are catching on to it, is why Donald Trump, not Kamala Harris, is getting ready to set up shop at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
