This morning, Joe Biden emphatically insisted he is not dropping out. He is continuing his re-election campaign.
He said so on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
And, in a letter to congressional leaders, he stated:
“I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump.”
Will Joe Biden truly be able to stick it out and remain the Democrat nominee? I don’t in any way see how.
Therefore, it seems clear to me, by making this statement he is committed to screwing his party, Not only its presidential prospects but down-ticket (i.e. senate and house) candidates as well. Royally.
Simply stated, this cannot hold. This cannot stay as is. Democrats can not and will not allow it to. It’s only a question of time.
Once mainstream media, his savior until now, stopped lying about him and started reporting his actual cognitive state – seriously impaired and rapidly worsening – it was all over.
And as pointed out in the previous blog, every day he middle-fingers his party is a day less that they can do anything about it with an alternative candidate.
I wonder what the over/under is on what day he will shuffle out, to a podium he might need help to find, and acknowledge the inevitable.
