Just in: after a “discussion” with President Trump, Australia’s leadership has reconsidered, and will allow members of the Iranian women’s soccer team to seek asylum.
Initial reports are that some will do so…and others will go back to Iran out for fear of what will happen to their families.
I have a bad feeling that they, AND their families, will suffer the consequences.
I hope I am wrong about this, but don’t think so. Stay tuned.
