Another week gone. And another week not one mainstream media venue has provided any reporting, investigative or otherwise, relating to the fact that Kamala Harris’s running mate, who would be a heartbeat from the presidency if she were to win….
…is not only a self-described socialist (his words: “Don’t ever shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”)…
…but has made at least 30 trips to communist China over the years. Including he and his wife’s honeymoon…which was timed to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre.
Tell me: if a Republican Vice Presidential candidate had that kind of résumé – say, being a self-avowed klansman and making 30 trips to a right-wing dictatorship, including his own honeymoon – do you think these same media would obligingly be looking the other way?
We have no mainstream media. I’m less and less sure we even have a country, at least as I used to know it.
