God how I wish Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were running for President here.
To say he dwarfs Barack Obama in intellect, logic and vision is not just a gross understatement, but a gross, schwartz and fineberg one. And that goes every bit as much for Clinton and Trump.
Here – with a tip of my imaginary hat to Scott Johnson at powerlineblog.com, is Mr. Netanyahu telling France – not suggesting, not warning, but telling France – that it is setting itself up for terror attacks:
Did you watch the video? Did you catch this key segment?
“It’s not Israel’s battle, it’s your battle. It’s the battle of France. Because it’s the same battle. If they succeed here, if Israel is the one that’s blamed here and not the terrorists, if we don’t stand together, then this terror plague will come to you. It’s just a question of time. It will come to you. It will come to France….”
Now consider the fact that this interview, with a seemingly skeptical French correspondent, took place in August of 2014. Just a few months after President Obama disdainfully blew off ISIS…oh, I’m sorry, ISIL (the smart way of saying it, you see) as nothing more than a “jayvee squad”.
With that in mind, let me end this blog the way I began: God how I wish Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were running for President here.
