Another night of obstruction, vandalism and violence against ICE agents in Minneapolis…with the Governor of Minnesota and the Mayor of Minneapolis not condemning it but, it can be argued, aiding, abetting and encouraging it.
This cannot hold. It has to end. And sooner rather than later.
I expect the Insurrection Act to be invoked. And I expect ugly events to follow. That is what Governor walz and Mayor frey, by their words, seem to be working towards and that is what they’ll get.
One other thing, in the form of a message to walz and frey: making sure that the insurrection continues full tilt will NOT cause the billions of dollars in fraud that occurred under your watch and you did nothing about go away. Even though you obviously hope it will. The fraud will still be fully investigated. And the people who did nothing about it – like you two (especially walz) – will still be nailed accordingly.
It is long past time for Minnesota to rejoin the United States. If the Insurrection Act is necessary to accomplish this, so be it.
