Here’s a little something that the Associated Press reported last night…
…Friday night when almost no one is paying attention, before a holiday weekend, when even fewer are paying attention:
About 1.6 million people who signed up for coverage this year under President Barack Obama’s health care law dropped out by the end of March, according to administration figures released late Thursday.
The report from the Health and Human Services department said some 11.1 million people were still signed up. But that’s a drop of nearly 13 percent from the 12.7 million who initially enrolled for subsidized private coverage this year. Those dropouts failed to seal the deal by paying their premiums.
How many people were supposed to sign up for ObamaCare? Something like 20 million? What happened to that?
How completely are we being lied to? Let’s see.

President Barack Obama said 20 million Americans had gained health insurance as a result of Obamacare, offering a rebuttal to Republican presidential contenders who have vowed to dismantle his signature domestic achievement if they are elected.
And from an article at bloomberg.com just three weeks later, on March 24th:
About 12 million people will be covered through Obamacare’s insurance marketplaces this year, the Congressional Budget Office said Thursday in a new estimate, a sign of the government’s continuing difficulties in getting people signed up for insurance under the 2010 program.
The estimate, released as part of a wider report, is down from a previous budget office projection of 13 million made in January, and far below the 21 million people that the CBO predicted a year ago would have coverage under the Affordable Care Act in 2016.
He lies to our faces. Openly, blatantly and without a care in the world, because most media do not even bother to report it.
Not even bloomberg.com, which published both these articles. Use the link to read the March 24th article and see if there is even one word noting that this is wildly below what Mr. Obama said just weeks ago. You won’t find it.
But what’s the probem? They are our wonderful “neutral” media, right? They would never mislead us, never suppress news they don’t want us to see, would they?
Uh….would they?
ObamaCare is, and has always been, an unworkable monstrosity. But there will never be a political price to pay if the voters don’t know about it.
Keep ’em ignorant and you own ’em.
