AN OBAMA PRESS SECRETARY Q & A

Jay Carney, as President Obama\’s press secretary, morphed from respectable journalist to ridiculous, lying clown.

Josh Earnest (what a name for this job!) did not start with the respectability Carney had, so the fact that he has quickly sunk to Carney\’s eventual level, or maybe appreciably lower, is not a surprise.

Why do I say this?   Here\’s a perfect example:  the following Q&A from Monday\’s press briefing between Fox News\’s Ed Henry and Earnest, as excerpted from Patrick Goodenough\’s article for cns.com.  Please do not read unless you are sitting down, and not eating or drinking anything:

“How does the White House react to the notion that thepresident is a bystander to all these crises?” asked Fox News\’ EdHenry, citing the widening gaps between the sides in the Iraniannuclear talks, the conflict in and around Gaza, and the Syrian civilwar.

“I think that there have been a number of situations inwhich you’ve seen this administration intervene in a meaningfulway, that has substantially furthered American interests andsubstantially improved the, uh, you know, the – the tranquility ofthe global community,” Earnest replied.

SAY WHAT??????????

The global community is “tranquil”?  If you have an IQ above 43 you know it is about as “tranquil” as a prison riot.  And President Obama\’s foreign policy, which hovers between feckless, useless and counterproductive, is a major part of the reason.

Do you realize how complete a bunch of imbeciles Earnest, and his boss (who is even less earnest than Earnest is) must think we are to say this?  What low – make that “no” – information spuds they take us for?

I often ask how anyone can believe a word that comes from anyone in this administration.  I\’m asking again here.  How?

I don\’t expect an answer.
