Apropos of nothing political…
This is sworn to me as a true story…by no less a source than our pal chemical Bob:
Friends of Bob and his wife were having company. Several guests had arrived, but not all of them.
The wife told the husband to mix drinks for the ones who already were there.
Then, when the doorbell rang, instead of the wife answering it she told the husband to do so. He stopped mixing the drinks to let them in.
Then while he was on the way to the door, she called out “check the oven” to make sure whatever was in it was ok.
At which point he turned to her and said “maybe you\’d like to shove a broomstick up my ass, so I could sweep the floor while I\’m doing everything else?”
I wasn\’t there, but somehow I think the husband got his point across.
OK, back to politics, where more and more voters would probably like that suggestion for just about all the participants,
