The New York Times – hardly an al sharpton nemesis, has reported that sharpton currently owes something like $4.5 million dollars in back taxes.
sharpton has now vigorously denied this – by claiming it can\’t be that much because he and his groups have been making payments. sharpton did not offer any specifics on what he owed or what payments had been made.
He did however, claim that this is all political. His exact words: “Every time there\’s a Sean Bell or a Ferguson or a Trayvon Martin, we go through my taxes. It\’s the same agreement y\’all. It\’s the same thing we announced in \’09. It is the same thing we\’ve been paying every month,”
Yeah, ok. Sure. Like his deadbeat act has never happened before.
How proud the Democrat Party must be that he is one of their kingmakers.
