I wonder when, if ever, the Democrats who are having a collective heart attack over the Department Of Government Efficiency (DOGE) scrutinizing government expenditures will realize that:
a) a very large majority of the country is in favor of such scutiny, and
b) the party supporting this scrutiny will be seen by a great many voters as fighting government waste while the party attacking this scrutiny will be seen by a great many voters as the beneficiaries of government waste.
Which political party do you figure will have a better story to tell when the 2026 midterm elections come around?
Point made.
