A quick note to the “Lost Tribe” (regular readers know who they are):
As of now, Barack Obama will not be present for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\’s address to a joint session of congress in March.
Nor will Vice President Joe Biden.
Nor will many (I\’m suspecting most) members of the Congressional Black Caucus – led by Reps Lewis and Butterfield (so far).
And Nancy Pelosi told us, this week, that Democrats are very busy with legislative duties and many will not be able to attend as well.
While individual Republicans, for individual reasons, might not attend, there is no indication that any bloc of Republicans is intentionally avoiding Mr. Netanyahu\’s address.
There is a lesson in there somewhere……….
