Apropos of nothing political….
This morning, our entire driveway – not spots here and there, not most, but the entire driveway right to the street – has about a 1/4 inch glaze of ice on it. Just like a glazed donut.
If you walk on it like a penguin, you\’re pretty much ok. Try walking with normal strides, and expect to be flat on your back.
Driving? Idle only, with your foot on the brake to make it even slower, or risk sliding into the street.
This is exactly the kind of situation that guarantees there will be accidents, caused by people who turn off their common sense meter as soon as they get behind the wheel of a car.
If you live in an area with these conditions (and a lot of the country has them right now), please try not to be one of those people….or one of their victims.
Ok, back to politics, where too many minds are permanently glazed, and some participants can\’t turn off their common sense because they don\’t have any in the first place.
