A DEMOCRAT SPEAKS UP ABOUT THE “PROTESTS”

For over a week there have been “protests” against the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States.  They have frequently involved physical violence against both civilians and police, and significant property damage, along with the intentional disruption of non-protesters’ freedom of movement.

Until yesterday, not one leading Democrat other than Bernie Sanders (belatedly and half-heartedly) has said a word about it.  Not one has demanded that the protests be peaceful. Not one has disassociated him/herself from the rioting and anarchy described above.

But finally we have a statement, from none less than the current President, Barack Obama.

Here it is, in its entirety:

“I’ve been the subject of protests during the course of my eight years.  and I suspect that there’s not a president in our history that hasn’t been subject to these protests. So, I would not advise people who feel strongly or who are concerned about some of the issues that have been raised during the course of the campaign, I wouldn’t advise them to be silent.”

In other words, keep right on doing what you’re doing.  Not one word about no violence, no damaging of physical property, no disrupting of other people’s lives.  Just “I wouldn’t advise them to be silent”.

Suddenly Hillary Clinton, who made a public speech this week during which she had nothing at all to say about the “protesters”, looks good by comparison.

I thought you might like to read about this here, since you will have to struggle mightily to find these facts noted in mainstream media.

They are the punch line of their own joke.
