What a circus sideshow.
An ethically challenged Senator in a hot war against an ethically challenged congressperson who is running for the senate – and both of them in the same party.
Can you imagine how hard media would come down on them if they were Republicans instead of Democrats?

(Harry) Reid was a guest at the weekly gathering of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) when Grayson confronted him over Reid’s previous calls for the Florida Democrat to resign from Congress over the ethics complaint, which accuses Grayson of running a hedge fund through his congressional office.
“Shame on you. It’s not true,” Grayson said, according to sources in the room.
“It is true and I want you to lose,” Reid fired back
Grayson’s confrontational approach was derided by Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), who heads the CPC.
“Why are you doing that?” Ellison asked, according to sources in the room. “This is so stupid.”
Another source said other CPC members shared Ellison’s sentiments.
“All the members were appalled” by Grayson’s behavior, the source said. “It was embarrassing for him and embarrassing for us that he behaved that way.”
So what do we have here?
We have Harry Reid, who got rich on shady land deals, at least one involving his son, attacking Alan Grayson – Donald Trump’s equal in gratuitous antagonism – for using a Cayman Islands hedge fund to stash over $16 million of his dollars – precisely the kind of ethical sewer he rails against in congress.
But wait. How can that be? Aren’t Republicans are the rich guys? Aren’t Republicans the ones involved in shady money dealings.
What a terrible problem this is for pure-as-the-driven-snow Hillary Clinton. Why, someone might look at this and conclude that if other Democrats have shady financial dealings, she might too. It might even sully the reputation of The Clinton Founda……oh, wait.
