In recent days there has been a lot of talk about “is this the hill Democrats want to die on”?
I’m not knocked out by that terminology. But since it’s out there, I think the cartoon below brings home the Democrats’ problem pretty clearly:

Is this really the current state of the Democrat Party (despite there being, I am sure, a segment of moderate Democrats wondering what happened to the party they, at least ostensibly, are still part of?)
