If this does not make your blood boil, nothing will.
Excerpted from Thomas Rose\’s piece at breitbart.com:
DefenseSecretary Chuck Hagel has formally approved the request of Pvt.Bradley Manning, convicted for leaking classified documents toWikileaks, to be temporarily transferred out of military custody inorder to undergo expensive hormone therapy and surgery to become awoman.
Asthe medical needs of Manning, convicted in 2013 and sentenced to 35years in prison for stealing 750,000 classified defense departmentdocuments in order to disseminate them to Wikileaks, were beingassiduously attended to by America\’s defense establishment, untoldhundreds of American servicemen and women suffering from genuinelife-threatening and acute medical conditions have allegedly beenleft to die on at least seven waiting lists managed by the USVeterans Administration.
Atleast 19 veterans “served” by VA facilities in South Carolina andGeorgia died apparently avoidable deaths from colon and bowel cancersafter they were put on phony waiting lists designed to prevent fromobtaining the necessary diagnostic tests.
PhoenixVA doctor Dr. Sam Foote was the first to publicly expose the scandalwhen he claimedthat up to 40 people in his jurisdiction alone had diedpreventable deaths while on VA waiting lists.
Sexchange treatments can last several years and, in Manning\’s case, willcost taxpayers up to $40,000. The 2014 published Medicaidreimbursement for a colonoscopy is $479.39.
Got that? bradley manning, a convicted traitor, is moved to the head of the line for a sex change operation….while untold numbers of men and women who served this country bravely, wait – and wait and wait some more – for treatment of life-threatening conditions, with some dying before they ever get it.
Would you like Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel to explain why, with his blessing, manning gets $40,000 “I wish I were a woman and the taxpayers are going to make my wish come true” surgery, while military personnel who did not sell out our country wait for procedures they desperately need?
I sure as hell would.
