In case you think Chris Matthews is the only one – or even the worse one – trying to cover the Obama Administration\’s thoroughly exposed rear end on Benghazi, try this on for size.
Excerpted from Paul Szoldra\’s article at businessinsider.com:
FormerWhite House National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor went onFox News on Thursday, and after host Brett Baier grilled him over theissue of the talking points used after the attack, he finallyresponded with, “Dude, this was like two years ago.”
Throughoutthe exchange, Vietor – who seemed annoyed at the line ofquestioning – wasn\’t really able to answer Baier on variousquestions, telling him he “believes so” or that he didn\’tremember.
“Youdon\’t remember?” Baier asked, to which Vietor responded, “Dude, this was like two years ago. We\’re still talking about the mostmundane process … we\’re talking about the process of editingtalking points. That\’s what bureaucrats do all day long.”
There you go. Just some mundane talking points. Four dead and our Benghazi facility firebombed by al-qaeda affiliated terrorists, while we tell the country it\’s all about a video, and you think this is a big deal? What\’s wrong with you, dude?
Tell you what, Mr. Vietor: George Bush hasn\’t been President for over five years, but Barack Obama continues to blame him for his failures. Maybe you should have a talk with him about that, dude.
Question: how many days until this administration is out of office? Answer: too many.
