The IRS met with the Department of Justice as early as September, 2010 at virtually the same time the IRS began to put the wood to conservative groups trying to get 501(c)4 status.
How do we know this? Because, as detailed in Mark Tapscott\’s article at washingtonexaminer.com, it was found in emails uncovered by the invaluable Judicial Watch.
In the words of Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, “These new documents dramatically show how The Justice Department is up to its neck in this scandal and can\’t be trusted to investigate crimes associated with the IRS abuses that targeted Obams\’s critics”.
Was this just a strange coincidence? I suppose that is possible. I also suppose it is possible that there will be a unicorn beauty contest on the dark side of Mars this December 37th.
The truth is dribbling out. Way too slowly, but it is dribbling out nonetheless.
Why is lois “liar” lerner not held in contempt and forced either to testify or be jailed until she does?
And when do mainstream media, collectively, grow even the slightest level of integrity and start, at long last, reporting about this ugly scandal?
Or are they still pretending it is less significant than closing a few lanes for a few days on the George Washington Bridge?
