Bernie Sanders was not supposed to be competitive to Hillary Clinton. He was supposed to be comic relief on her way to the White House.
But it hasn\’tr turned out that way. Not for months.
And now that Mr. Sanders effectively tied Ms. Clinton in Iowa (it is entirely possible he won outright, if you believe the stories floating around about how several delegates were counted), this battle is truly joined.
How serious is Bernie Sanders when it comes to going up against Hillary Clinton? And how combative has he become after the Iowa fun and games? Well, take a look at the contents of his latest tweet, timed to remind New Hampshire voters of who/what Ms. Clinton actually is:
Does that look serious to you? Because it sure does to me.
What a spectacle: Bernie Sanders, a socialist, trying to “prove” that Hillary Clinton, lurching left to win the Democrat nomination, is really a right winger in disguise.
And media think Republicans are fighting each other? What do they call this?
Stay tuned, folks. The show is not over. It has barely begun. And one of these two is not going to have a happy ending. Maybe both.
