The golden globe awards are handed out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, an organization currently comprised of, I believe, just 93 members – some with very questionable credentials.
As such, the awards show (which aired last night) is pretty much meaningless to me.
But they do put on a ritzy, glitzy TV presentation, don\’t they?
Please do not mistake this as anger against the golden globes. I have none. I just don\’t think they are significant.
