Here, over several days, is Donald Trump\’s take on North Korean deranged lunatic kim jung un:
“…you\’ve got togive him credit: How many young guys – he was like 26 or 25 when his fatherdied – take over these tough generals and all of a sudden, you know, it\’spretty amazing when you think of it. How does he do that?“Even though it is aculture, and it\’s a culture thing, he goes in, he takes over, he\’s the boss.It\’s incredible.”
“I mean, it\’s amazingthat a young guy would go over and take over. You know, you would have thought that these tough generalswould have said no way this is gonna happen when the father died.
“So he\’s gotta havesomething going for him, because he kept control, which is amazing for a youngperson to do”.
That, folks, is what Donald Trump admires.
And, yes, I know he did not say anything positive about the actions kim jung un takes (Trump also called him “a madman playing with nukes” and “a total nut job”), his assessment is only about kim jung un\’s success at maintaining power.
The same kind of thing, albeit for different reasons, that could have been said about bashar al-assad of Syria and “baby doc” duvalier of Haiti.
What Donald Trump admires, in othe words, is the successful triumph of raw power over everything else.
Is this how Trump would attempt run the United States if he were President?
If you support Trump, that is very much worth thinking about.
