THE CLINTON FOUNDATION AS A MONEY LAUNDERING SCHEME

Ken Berwitz

The New York Post has published an editorial about the Clinton Foundation – zeroing in on who gave a lot of money and what they may have expected for it.

I am excerpting the Post editorial below.  And the hardest part of doing so is figuring out what to leave out.

This is the best I can do – along with a plea that you use this link and read every word:

It turns out that Bill Clinton raked in millions fromentities with matters before Hillary Clinton\’s State Department. Oh, and theClinton Foundation collected millions more from the same bunch.

In total, The Wall Street Journal reports, two dozencompanies and groups, plus the Abu Dhabi government, gave Bill more than $8million for speeches, even as they were hoping for favorable treatment fromHillary\’s bureaucracy. And 15 of them also gave at least $5 million total tothe foundation.

The issue first arose thanks to Peter Schweizer\’s book, “Clinton Cash.”

“The really troubling thing about Bill\’s speeches is theapparent correlation between his fees and Hillary\’s decisions during her tenureas secretary of state,” he wrote.

“The timing of the payments, the much-higher-than-averagesize of some of them, and the subsequent actions taken by Hillary raise seriousquestions about just what those who underwrote these exorbitant fees wereactually paying for.”

…enough evidence exists to prove the Clintons arededicated to blurring every possible ethical line. It\’s “two for the price ofone” – and anyone with the cash can buy.

I have written a number of blogs about Peter Schweizer\’s book, which details far more than just the tie-in between contributions to The Clinton Foundation and favorable treatment afforded the contributors by the Hillary Clinton State Department.

In one of them, I referenced the “CDT” – the “Clinton Defamation Team” – as it tried to attack Mr. Schweizer, an Oxford-educated author with an impeccable reputation.  I suggested that it would really have to turn on the afterburners to take this book down.

As it turned out , the CDT didn\’t have to work that hard…because media ignoring its contents was enough to do the trick.

Maybe this editorial will start the ball rolling on some serious scrutiny of the Clintons\’ financial dealings – i.e. who gave what to get what.

That would be a nice change of pace.  Heck, it might even make voters think about what an ethical sewer the White House would be if Ms. Clinton and Hubby Bubba were its occupants.
