Ken Berwitz
Today\’s quote comes from Richard Engel – the NBC/MSNBC correspondent who, to say the least, is not what you\’d call a Republican partisan.
Here, while on Chris Matthews\’ “Hardball” show last night, is the first thing he said about President Obama\’s speech:
“He laid out this strategy, again. And it\’s really the same strategy that hasn\’t been working for the last several years.”
Mr. Engel wins “Quote Of The Day Honors for avoiding the partisan covering for President Obama that so often is done at MSNBC, to talk honestly about the uselessness of Mr. Obama\’s speech.
Good for him integrity-wise…and bad for us safety-wise.
