Mom’s not the word.
New York state Democrats passed a bill to erase words like “mother” and “father” from Family Court Law — in the latest gender-neutral rewriting in the state’s official records.
“Mother” would be replaced with “gestating parent” while “father” becomes “non-gestating parent” and “paternity” proceedings would become “parentage” proceedings under the woke bill that was rammed through both houses of the state legislature this week.
Hochul, who proudly wears the moniker of New York’s “first mom governor,” dodged on saying whether she supported the gender-neutral rewrite.
Can this be true? Can some (not all) Democrats be so far gone that they want to legislate obvious, logical terminology like “mother”, “father” and “paternity” out of existence, to be replaced by the latest woke idiocies? Can this possibly be what is important to them?
Evidently, the answer is yes.
If Governor Hochul had an ounce of common sense the legislation would not be signed into law.
The fact that she isn’t saying one way or another tells us that she either agrees with this insanity, or that she is so scared of the people pushing it that she could sign it into law regardless of her beliefs.
Which of those two possibilities would make you interested in voting for her? I’ll wait…..
