What happens when Immigrationand Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who come into Minneapolis, Minnesota to remove illegals, with a special emphasis on illegals with criminal records, are treated as though they are the criminals?
What happens when the Governor of Minnesota, tim walz, and the Mayor of Minneapolis, jacob frey, do everything they can to thwart ICE? When they look the other way as “protesters” congregate illegally and perform multiple illegal acts against the agents?
What happens when it is clear that the police, who should be preventing illegalities and protecting ICE agents from, among other things, blocking their vehicles and throwing rocks and bottles at them, are either told to hold back, or not sent at all?
Well, yesterday, what happened was that a protester first blocked ICE agents with her vehicle and then, whe told to get out of the car, instead backed it up and then floored it toward an agent (whether she was intentionally trying to hit him, or intended to hit the agents in her path when she accelerated, we will never know for sure). *
The agent drew his gun and fired at the driver, killing her.
And now? Governor walz and Mayor frey, who put the conditions in place that encouraged her to do what she did, are acting like the aggrieved parties.
frey is calling the claim that she tried to hit the agent (which, having looked at all angles, is at least a serious possibility) “bullshit” and telling ICE to “get the fuck out of Minneapolis”. That’s certainly going to calm things down, right?
And walz, who may be the single most unhinged politician in the country (no small feat in a country with alexandria ocasio-cortez, eric swalwell and jasmine crockett) is threatening to call out the National Guard.
To do WHAT, tim? Start firing on ICE agents? Is that what you’re hoping for? It certainly would take the billions of dollars in fraud that you did nothing about for years off the front pages for a day or two, wouldn’t it?
This is a classic example of people who put the conditions in place for this to happen – the architects – now trying to pretend they are the aggieved parties.
They are what is wrong with Minneapolis, with Minnesota, and with the lunatic left in this country – which, more and more, seems to be taking over the Democrat Party.

*I just heard law professor/commentator Jonathan Turley point out that where the bullet entered the car will be an important part of this determination. If the shots went through the front window, it is hard to argue that the car wasn’t coming toward the agent, thus why he would have felt endangered. And, again, there is the possibility that he felt he was protecting the other agents the car would have been accelerated toward.
