Today’s quote comes to us from Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. It concerns Illinois Governor j.b. pritzker and and Chicago Major brandon johnson’s record of protecting, and actually releasing from custody, illegal aliens who have criminal records, including violent crimes.
Says Asst. Sec. McLaughlin:
“These heinous criminals, including domestic abusers, drug traffickers, violent offenders, and drunk drivers are some of the illegal aliens being held in the ICE Broadview Processing Center. Why do Governor Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson care more about violent criminal illegal aliens than they do about protecting their own citizens?
“These rioters in Illinois are fighting to keep rapists, murderers, and other violent criminals loose on Illinois streets. Instead of rioting, they should be thanking ICE officers who every single day wake up and make our communities safer.”
I award Tricia McLaughlin Quote Of The Day honors for doing nothing other than stating the obvious…and I award j. b. pritzker and brandon johnson dishonors, for being the reasons she has to state the obvious.
