Today’s quote comes to us from a “protester” (that’s a lot cleaner than some other words I was considering) at the so-called “No Kings” rally in Chicago this weekend.
Here is what this “gentle soul” (yes, that is dripping with sarcasm) has to say about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel (and here is the video):
“We gotta grab a gun. We gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system. These ICE agents gotta get shot. And wiped out. “
Could that be a more direct threat? And since it obviously is a direct threat, why is this “man” still walking free? Why is he not arrested and charged?
Because it is Chicago, that’s why. The Chicago of brandon johnson and j. b. pritzker. So threatening death to people enforcing federal law is just fine.
Incidentally, though I have not seen 100% confirmation yet, reports are that the hatemonger quoted above is named moisés bernal puentes…and he is a staff member at Wilbur Wright College, described as “a public municipal community college in Chicago, Illinois, under the City Colleges of Chicago system.”
Any thoughts on what they might be teaching over there?
