THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us, via his truthsocial.com platform, from President Donald Trump.  It is his description of the massive trade deal just completed with Japan – a trade deal that, in terms of media attention, is taking second-place to the epstein “scandal”/”saga”/nothingburger:

“We just completed a massive Deal with Japan, perhaps the largest Deal ever made. Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits.

“This Deal will create Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs — There has never been anything like it. Perhaps most importantly, Japan will open their Country to Trade including Cars and Trucks, Rice and certain other Agricultural Products, and other things. Japan will pay Reciprocal Tariffs to the United States of 15 percent.

“This is a very exciting time for the United States of America, and especially for the fact that we will continue to always have a great relationship with the Country of Japan. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

I award Quote Of The Day to Donald Trump both for his short/to the point description of this remarkable deal, and the fact that he was able to negotiate it and pull it off.

Could Joe Biden or his puppeteers have done this?  Could Kamala Harris have done this?  If so, how come they didn’t.  Chalk it up as another triumph for this hated-by-media but remarkably successful presidency.
