Today\’s quote comes to us from someone who understands full well the threat Western Civilization is under, and what has to be done about it – someone who also demonstrates that we are wrong, wrong, wrong, to tar all Muslims with the same brush.

His name is Ahmed Aboutaleb and he is the Mayor of Rotterdam, Holland.  Here, from an interview this week, is what Mr. Aboutaleb had to say about radical Islamic terrorism:

 “I am no militarystrategist, but as a manager I say it is time to wipe out the 40,000 to 50,000people who have joined ISIS…Because these events first and foremost turnagainst Muslims in Europe. All peace-loving Muslims in Europe should distancethemselves from this.

“ISIS are involved in ethnic cleansing on Christians,Shiites, Yezidis, Alawites and moderate Muslims…

 “I want to make sure those who are consideringgoing to Syria know exactly what is at risk. If you think this society is depraved, then go. But there is no wayback. Hand over your passport and risk getting bombed.”

Is Mayor Aboutaleb some isolated Muslim voice in the wilderness?  I can\’t prove it, but I am certain the answer is no.  

He is a very brave voice, which is why he wins Quote Of The Day honors.  But I strongly suspect that there are many, many others like him – people who are too fearful of reprisal against themselves and their families to speak up, but would celebrate the dismantling of international Islamic terrorism if it were to occur.  

One other thing:  his insistence that ISIS recruits who go abroad so they can join in the killing should have their passport taken and not be allowed back into the country?  Why is President Obama not insisting on exactly the same thing – or at the very least, a review of anyone who suddenly claims pangs of regret and wants to return before he/she is allowed to do so?

Does this man have any idea that fighting the war being waged against the United States (and all of Western Civilization) involves more than occasional high-profile drone attacks and making idiotic statements about ISIS being “contained” that, hours later in Paris, are proven to have no basis in reality?
