There are reports that a drone strike has almost certainly killed the ISIS terrorist mohamed emwazi, better known as “jihadi john” – the “man” (a term I use in the loosest sense) who, among others, beheaded two Americans on video for the world to see: James Foley and Steven Sotloff.
I wish two things.
One is that he rots in hell for eternity.
The other is that we take no comfort in his death – because killing emwazi does not change a thing, other than which person is doing the beheadings instead of him.
To kill this subhuman scum addresses a symptom, not the problem. The problem is ISIS (or ISIL, if you happen to be one of the intellectually superior types in the Obama administration). Not any one part of it.
When is something done about that. When does the Islamic world – the countries which piously claim they should not be judged by the actions of ISIS – act to stop them from killing in the name of Allah?
And if they won\’t – which, apparently is the case – when do WE do something about it – not for the countries that won\’t defend their own religious culture, but for us – so that we can protect and preserve Western Civilization?
Maybe after January, 2017. But, apparently, not until then.
