This blog is dedicated to anyone who still believes that the millions and millions of illegal aliens Biden/Harris/Democrats in general have allowed to enter the United States is unrelated to their hope that these illegals will be voting Democrat sooner or later – sooner quite possibly meaning before they have any legal right to vote at all
To these benighted folks, I strongly urge that they read Andrew McCarthy’s latest article for National Review online, titled “The lawsuit against Governor Youngkin’s voter-roll cleanup is shameful.”
Here is how it starts:
Understand: The Biden-Harris administration, led as ever by U.S. history’s most politicized Justice Department, is now doing the very thing it has indicted Donald Trump for doing — and for which it would have him imprisoned for up to ten years. That is, it is conspiring to injure the people of a state, Virginia in this instance, in the enjoyment of their right to vote. That’s a felony violation of the civil-rights laws (§241), at least according to the indictment Biden-Harris DOJ special counsel Jack Smith has brought against Vice President Harris’s opponent (formerly President Biden’s opponent) in the 2024 election.
The administration is trying to influence that election by promoting voting by some of the more than 10 million illegal aliens it has ushered into the country. That is the upshot of the DOJ’s lawsuit against Virginia. Perversely, the administration will claim it is protecting American citizens from being denied their voting rights — inadvertently or otherwise. That is preposterous.
Under the leadership of Republican governor Glenn Youngkin, the commonwealth is enforcing a 2006 statute, signed into law by the then-governor Tim Kaine (a Democrat, now a senator, and the party’s 2016 vice-presidential candidate), which mandates that noncitizens be removed from the voter rolls. Virginia law requires election officials to challenge any voter they suspect of being an illegal alien. Those challenged may still cast ballots, but they must sign a statement under oath attesting that they are U.S. citizens — a requirement completely consistent with federal law…
Translation: The Democrat-politicized Department Of Justice (a reality that makes me sick to my stomach) is attempting to prevent Virginia from insuring that people trying to vote are, in fact, legally able to do so…
…just as, earlier this year, congressional Democrats torpedoed the SAVE (Safeguard Voter Elegibility) Act, which required proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.
Why is it that every legal effort insure that voting is done only by people who have the legal right to do so – even including something as simple as producing a valid ID – is vehemently opposed by Democrats; not Republicans, but Democrats?
If you have an IQ at least as high as an artichoke with a drinking problem, I will assume you will conclude from the above that Democrats, as a party (there must be some individuals who disagree) are OK with illegals voting; maybe even counting on them. And, as a logical consequence, you also conclude that a great many illegals are already voting.
Are you happy about this? I certainly am not. And I expect most people, you included, are not as well.
If Donald Trump should overcome the illegal voting that this almost certainly creates and regain the presidency, let us hope that cleaning up the DOJ and making sure only legal voters cast ballots will be among his first orders of business.
