Here, for whatever they’re worth, are the last two days’ Trump/Harris national poll results:
July 25:
-Rasmussen: Trump 50% – Harris 43%
July 24th:
-CNN: Trump 49% – Harris 46%
-Economist/YouGov: Trump 44% – Harris 41%
What do these polls say? They say that before there is any campaigning against her, Kamala Harris is losing to Trump by just about as much as Joe Biden was.
If the polls are accurate (always a big “if”), this news is terrible. Because she is losing before people are reminded of her responsibility for the border, and, more generally, her hard-left views (which will solidify the leftward base that wouldn’t have voted for Trump anyway, but damage her with swing voters).
Now add in the fact that Harris did not attend Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech yesterday (along with dozens of other Democrats), which is not reflected in those polls but, given the fact that most voters support Israel, should have negative impact…
…and – again, if the polls are accurate – you’ve got an 81 year old loser being replaced by a 59 year old loser.
Is it panic time for Democrats? Maybe yes, maybe not yet. But it definitely is heading in that direction.
