Today’s quote – and there are more to choose from, but this one truly stands out – comes to us from President Joe Biden.
Biden granted an interview to Ed Gordon of Black Entertainment Television (BET), which aired last night.
Not at all surprisingly, given that Mr. Gordon and the primary BET audience are Black, Biden quickly went into pandering mode, showing that he doesn’t see Mr. Gordon and his audience as people, he sees them as Black people.
In the course of his pandering, when talking about how nice he is to Black folks, Biden actually said this:
“And so it’s all about, it’s all about treating people with dignity. And it’s about making sure that, look, I mean, for example, look at the heat I’m getting because I, I named a, uh, the, uh, secretary of defense — the Black man,” I named Ketanji Brown, I mean, because of the people I’ve named…”
Uh, Joe……..
The “Black Guy” is Lloyd Austin. The person you mentioned instead is someone you appointed to the Supreme Court, not as Secretary of Defense. That person is a she, not a he. And her name is not Ketanji Brown, it’s Ketanji Brown Jackson.
If that isn’t enough for you, then, as mentioned earlier, there are more quotes to choose from – including Biden’s generalization about when young Black people pay attention/consider who they’ll vote for. You can see/hear them by clicking here.
I award Joe Biden Quote Of The Day “honors” for not only showing that he generalizes about Black people (doesn’t the klan do that also?), but that he literally doesn’t know what he’s talking about – exactly what is scaring the gazongas out of down-ticket Democrats across the country, who sees him going down in November and taking them down with him.
