BIDEN’S “SUPREME COURT DECISION” STATEMENT

Did you see/hear Joe Biden’s statement (not “speech”, but statement; it was only 4 1/2 minutes long) – the one he read from a script last night?

Let’s start with the way Biden looked and sounded.

He looked like someone sprayed him with a can of Man Tan; like he spent the last week out in the sun.

His eyes, like two slits throughout last week’s debate, were wide open.  And his voice level was about twice as loud.  If he wasn’t on something (Adderall comes to mind) he gave a great impression of  it.

As for Biden’s comments, in which he condemned the Supreme Court decision on immunity (which covers Biden every bit as much as Trump – something he, of course, neglected to point out)?

In those few minutes he claimed that presidents can now do  just about anything without legal recourse.  That is a lie; the decision only covers a president’s constitutional duties.

He also claimed that President Trump sent a mob to DC to commit an insurrection.  Another lie.  In point of fact, Trump said they should march to the capital “patriotically and peacefully”.  He also asked for – and was refused by Pelosi and D.C. Mayor Bowser – 10,000 National Guard to protect the Capitol building and surroundings.

And, as usual, after making these claims, Biden walked away without answering any questions.

Was this supposed to give us confidence that Biden is still competent to be President?  If you ask me, it doesn’t give me confidence he could run a hot dog stand.
