Child Terrorist Abbas Claims was \’Executed\’ in Stable Condition
Deputy Director of Hadassah Medical Center, Dr. AsherSalmon, reported Thursday onthe medical condition ofthe 13-year-old Arab who critically injured two Israelis in the PisgatZe\’ev stabbing attack on Monday.
“He is hospitalized in moderate to light condition in one of ourdepartments and is being well cared for medically. I believe we will be able torelease him in the coming days,” Dr. Salmon said.
The update on the young terrorist\’s condition comes afterPalestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas claimed on Wednesday night thatIsrael had “executed” him.
Israel “executed the child Ahmed Mansara in cold blood, just like they do to other children in Jerusalemand other Palestinian territories,” Abbas said in a speech broadcast on PAtelevision.
In fact, the young terrorist was hit by a car as he ranthrough the streets of Pisgat Ze\’ev armed with a massive knife, leaving himinjured but alive. Ironically, he is now receiving high-level medical care inan Israeli hospital.
Mansara\’s accomplice, his 15-year-old cousin Mahmoud Mansara, was, however, shot dead – after charging at police with a knife.
Despite Palestinian claims of innocence, thecousins\’ religiously-fueled rampage through the streets of Jerusalem was recorded almost in its entirety by CCTV cameras in harrowing footage releasedWednesday by police.
In Jerusalem, the Prime Minister\’s Office reacted angrily toAbbas\’ speech, accusing the PA chairman of continuing his campaign of”incitement and lies.”
Regarding the accusations concerning Ahmed Mansara\’s”execution,” Netanyahu\’s office noted that “the youth he wastalking about is alive and being treated at (Israel\’s) Hadassah (hospital),after he stabbed an Israeli child who was riding on a bicycle.”
