John Kasich is ending his presidential campaign. Reports are the announcement will come at about 5PM.
Barring act of God, that makes Donald Trump the Republican presidential nominee.
To the Republican Party “establishment”, which, no doubt, is wondering how this could have happened – after screwing over its base when, with a majority in both houses of congress, it did little other than play footsie with Democrats – I suggest you consider Galatians 6:7. If you don’t know what it says, ask Ted Cruz; he has plenty of time to explain it to you.
And to the Democrats, many of whom are gleeful at the prospect of running Hillary Clinton against an obvious loser like Donald Trump? I’d like to remind you that 16 Republican opponents, including a few hugely funded heavy hitters, thought the same thing.
Be careful what you wish for…..
The above is dedicated to whoever figures that, with hardline Democrat DAs and judges trying to convict Donald Trump of dozens and dozens of felonies based on some of the most ridiculous, fraudulent charges I have ever seen, and assumes this will cause voters to run away from him….etc.
FYI: The key phrase in Galatians 6:7 is, paraphrased, “As you sow, so shall ye reap”. In other words, what you did (or didn’t do) is going to come back to haunt you. It was relevant then, and it’s at least as relevant now.
