The latest inflation rate is out. It has risen to 3.5% – up from 3.2% last month, and almost 2 1/2 times the 1.4% inflation rate Biden inherited from Donald Trump.
According to AAA, the average price for gas has risen to $3.61.9 a gallon. This is 51% higher than the $2.39 a gallon Biden inherited from Donald Trump (and 72% higher than the week Biden won the election on a promise of decimating our fossil fuel resources).
What is the single most important issue in this (and just about every) national campaign?
In the immortal words of James Carville, “It’s the economy, stupid”.
Is this a problem for Joe Biden?
That’s like asking if a freezer breakdown is a problem for your ice cube supply.
